Parks

In our book this week, Sofia Valdez, Future Prez, Sofia convinces community members and city leaders that they should all work together to make their town better by turning a dangerous trash heap into a public park.  After reading the book, we talked about what elements our favorite parks have, and then we designed and built our own parks out of play-dough, colored paper, craft items, and recycled materials.  Photos of the parks are below, and in them you can see grassy areas, animals, people, see-saws, playgrounds, ponds, weather, parking lots, signage, and more!
