Happy Wednesday!

It’s the last Wednesday update of the school year! Hard to believe how fast the year went by. And although there is only a week left of school, this week is action packed with activities, promotions, dances, awards, and more!

Recognizing Teachers! The PTA is thrilled to announce this year’s winners of the end of year awards! Thank you to everyone who nominated and voted! The winners will be receiving an award from the PTA and a token of our appreciation. Thank you to these amazing teachers and staff who do so much for our children and families. We are grateful for your continued dedication and passion!

Rising Kindergartener Play Date! The annual rising kindergartener play date is this Saturday, June 8th at 11:30 AM at the JH Playground. Popsicles will be served!

Field Day 2024! Thank you to our parents and families for volunteering for Field Day! Scheduled for THIS Friday, June 7, Field Day is an opportunity for JH students and staff to enjoy a day of fun and games. If you are new to JH or need to renew your volunteer application (it's good for two years), please apply to be a volunteer ASAP! This is required to participate.

ACPS recently updated their volunteer process, which is below:

1. Read and sign the mandatory online Code of Conduct, and complete the Volunteer Application Form.
2. Check email for application status.
3. Complete a virtual ID verification appointment.
4. Contact the school(s) or program where you wish to serve (JH!)
